I studied Architecture for four years in University College Cork joint with Cork Institute of Technology. I graduated top of my class for which I received an award from CIT/UCC for Best (Honours) Degree Student in Architecture which was sponsored by the Southern Region of the RIAI. It was during my years studying architecture that I really developed a love for design and the whole design process, taking projects from conception to completion.
After I graduated I was asked to come work for one of Irelands top architectural firms, deBlacam and Meagher, where I worked for a year as architectural apprentice to Shane de Blacam. I gained invaluable experience in both Architecture and also in working as part of a collaborative environment. Below are samples of some of the work that I developed throughout my years studying and working across a broad range of media from sculpture to print.
