The brief for this college project was to create an image processing application which allows a user to perform a number of different filters and edits on their own images.
The application was developed using Flash and ActionScript. The user is presented with an initial introductory interface once they load the application, which outlines instructions for use. Overall I recieved a mark of 90/100 for this project.
This was another masters project which was created using the Processing programming language and environment. The brief was to create an interactive advertisement that could be displayed in a shopping mall. This interactive advertisement, directed towards children, uses the camera to detect motion, ie. when a user passes, which then triggers the advertisement to change and attract the attention of the passer by.
Thus the application switches from 1. Idle - waiting for someone to pass, 2. Motion Detected - change state in order to catch passers attention, 3. User Interaction - user interacting with the application, 4. Return to idle state - once user has left the application.
This application uses the theme of 'Sponge Bob Square Pants' allows the user to chose from various styles of glasses, of which they can then take a snap shot of them wearing.
